Day 01

Nairobi City – Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be picked from your Nairobi residence and after a brief introduction you depart at 09:00 am to Lake Nakuru with a brief stop-over at the panoramic Viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and arrival at your lodge in time for check-in/lunch followed by a short rest.
Later afternoon, a game viewing drive in the park follows to run until sunset and then return to lodge. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge (L,D)

Day 02

Nairobi City – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you depart at 07:00 am with an enroute game drive and exit Lake Nakuru. Arrival at your lodge is in time for check-in/lunch followed by a short rest.
Later afternoon, a game viewing drive in the reserve follows to run until sunset and then return to lodge. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Lodge or similar (L,D)

Day 03

Masai Mara National Reserve

Full day spent fully in the pack inclusive of game drives in the morning & afternoon and picnic lunch by the river Mara. Attractions include lion, buffalo, elephant, the elusive leopard, endangered rhino, wildebeest, various antelope types and a rich birdlife array among others.
In the evening you return to your lodge for overnight.

Dubbed “the lion country” Masai Mara National Reserve shares the delicate eco-system with Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and teems with a very high wildlife population including all the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo and the highly elusive leopard and rhino). Other game present would include large zebra population, over 76 species of big and small antelopes, African wild dog, hyena, fox and giraffe among many. This reserve is also the epi-centre of the phenomenal annual wildebeest migration which attracts all the big cats and herbivores alike, as they compete with each other for survival and against crocodile attacks coupled with hippo accidents at River Mara crossing-point. The birdlife range is also quite impressive, the gently rolling savannah landscape amid endless undisturbed African skies notwithstanding.

Day 04

Masai Mara National Reserve- Nairobi City

After breakfast and with a last enroute game viewing drive on this day, you depart from the reserve and drive back to Nairobi. Arrival is in the afternoon in time for lunch, to mark end of your safari.
